Neighbourhood Plan Examinations 2016 and 2017
- Report published on Highgate Neighbourhood Plan examination (28 February 2017), Haringey. Neighbourhood Plan Examiner: Jill Kingaby. The Referendum returned a 88% YES vote on 6 July 2017 (Highgate was the first cross-boundary neighbourhood plan in London to proceed to a referendum and only the second in England) and the Plan was made on 20 July 2017.
- Report published on Farnham Neighbourhood Plan examination (23 February 2017), Waverley. Neighbourhood Plan Examiner: Derek Stebbing. The Referendum returned a 90% YES vote on 4 May 2017. The Plan was challenged in the High Court, unsuccessfully, with a judgement handed down on 18 July 2017, dismissing all grounds of the claim. The Plan was made on 27 July 2017.
- Report published on Altrincham Neighbourhood Business Plan (26 January 2017), Trafford. Neighbourhood Plan Examiner: Jill Kingaby. This was only the third neighbourhood business plan to go to Referendums (one for residents and one for businesses) since the Localism Act 2011, returning YES votes of 84.6% (Residents) and 95.7% (Businesses) on 19 October 2017. The Plan has now been made.
