Whilst we are not actively recruiting at present, we welcome expressions of interest if you would like to join our team

You will need to have extensive and up to date experience of conducting examinations (written representations and hearing procedures) and providing proven advice on local plans, CIL or neighbourhood plans.

We offer flexible working terms, competitive rates of pay (including payment of professional fees, up to 30 days paid annual leave etc) and full office team support, including guidance, in house training and ongoing peer support and review.

Our most recent recruit is Andrew Seaman BA (Hons) MA MRTPI, who joined us in 2019 and formerly served the Planning Inspectorate as Group Manager - Planning (England), carrying responsibility for all Inspectors involved in mainstream Section 78 appeal decision making. The IPe team has now grown to 22 employees (we do not engage contractors).
